Standard radiology

Standard radiology

Standard radiology involves taking photographs of the hand, lungs, pelvis, bones, etc.

Duration

The examination only takes a few minutes.

Radiation

Ionising radiation is used for this purpose. The doses used for such routine examinations are below the danger level.

Procedure

With standard radiology, you do not lie in a device or tube. You only have to partially undress, depending on the area of the body which has to be examined. Respect for you as a patient is very important here.

Digital images are available

The photos are available immediately after the examination and are sent to the treating doctor digitally, together with a report. Immediately after the examination, you are given a code which you can use to view the images yourself via the internet.
