Making an appointment at UZ Brussel
A doctor's prescription or a referral from the treating doctor is always required for a radiology examination.
You can make an appointment by telephone or by e-mail for the following examinations or specialist procedures:
- Standard radiology for adults
- Ultrasound
- Mammography
- CT
- MRI
- Angiography
- Nuclear medicine
- Paediatric radiology
If you make an appointment by e-mail, it is important to provide the following details:
- Your name
- Date of birth
- Examination requested
- Referring doctor
- Your telephone number
A member of staff from the Radiology service will contact you on the first working day after receipt of your e-mail to make an appointment.
International patients can contact Services & International Patients (SIP).
Standard radiology for adults

- Evening consultations:
- Standard ultrasound: Monday to Thursday from 5 pm to 6.30 pm
- Osteoarticular ultrasound (bones, joints, etc.): Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 6.30 pm
