The Department of Ophthalmology of the UZ Brussels in conducting several clinical trials. It is possible that you will be asked to participate in one of these trials. Participation in a trial is always voluntary.

If you are interested in participating in one of the trials or if you are interested in more information about these trials, please contact our ophthalmologists. 

Here, you will find an overview of the on-going trials. This website only provides general information. Not all possible techniques, treatment options and risks are listed here. The complete information necessary to make an informed decision about participation in a trial will be provided by the ophthalmologist/staff member involved in the respective trial.
