Villa Samson
A visit from your dog or cat
Villa Samson is a unique care facility, right next to the UZ Brussel. As a patient who is hospitalised for a longer period of time, you can see your pet (dog or cat) there if your medical condition permits this.
Animal therapy
Villa Samson also thinks of patients who do not have a pet, as the UZ Brussel is committed to offering animal therapy. Scientific research has shown that contact with animals has a beneficial effect on people's mental well-being and on the healing process.
