Room

Stay in your room as much as possible.

Stay in your room as much as possible while in hospital. Your doctor may check up on you and examinations have to be performed. If you are absent, this may delay your treatment.

We recommend that you leave the hospital building as little as possible. If you choose to do this anyway, you do so at your own risk.

Room facilities

  • Each room has a separate area with a sink and toilet.
  • There is a call system in each room that you can use to call the nurse day and night.
  • All rooms have a radio.
  • Most rooms have a safe. However, we do not recommend leaving valuables, documents or cash in the room.
  • All rooms have a telephone, Wi-Fi, and television. You will be billed a fixed fee of five euros a day for using it (for a maximum of 30 days per calendar year). Patients with Omnio status and patients staying in the Intensive Care unit and the Neonatal ward will not be billed for this.
  • Wi-Fi is available through the hospital’s public Wi-Fi network. You do not need a login or password.
  • Outgoing phone calls are charged separately. Call charges are itemised on your hospital bill.
