Specific financial aspects for PGT patients

For patients who undergo PGT treatment, the invoicing and payment of the MAR treatment is done via the BrusselsIVF. 

Here too there is a distinction between patients who can make a claim for reimbursement and those who cannot. Non-eligible patients must pay for the treatment before the treatment takes place. For the laboratory services of the Centre for Medical Genetics in the context of a PGT treatment that means that the full amount for the preparatory blood tests of the prospective parents must be paid before the development of the test starts. 

For a fertility treatment, national health insurance patients must also meet specific conditions in order to be reimbursed for the treatment. In other words, being eligible for national health insurance is not the same as being eligible for reimbursement.
