Paying for laboratory services

You will receive an invoice sent to you in the post for analyses carried out. You pay the invoice by bank transfer.

Receiving an invoice without being a UZ Brussel patient?

That is possible. Sometimes the Centre for Medical Genetics (CMG) receives requests for analyses from other centres. They do not have to inform their patients that the analysis was outsourced to the CMG. 

The CMG sends the result of the test to the requesting doctor and the referring centre in question, not to the person for whom the test was intended. The invoice does, however, go to the person concerned.
