When you arrive

When you arrive

  1. You should arrive in the hospital about 30 minutes before your actual appointment. 
  2. Upon arrival, you need to register first. This can be done with your identity card at the registration desk or by using the self-service stations. The registration desk and self-service stations are located in the entrance hall of the consultation building (Zone C / level -1). Upon registration, you will receive your registration form. 
  3. The consultations of the Department of Ophthalmology take place in zone C. You can follow the route number, that is listed on your registration form, to the waiting area. 
  4. In the waiting are, you can scan the barcode on your registration form. Your ophthalmologist and the other care providers now know that you have arrived and you can take a seat in the waiting area until you will be picked up for your appointment.

For your appointment you should bring your identity card and the referral letter from your GP or specialist.

If applicable: Also bring the results of previous tests or other medical documents and a list of your medications.
