Paediatric radiology

Children are not small adults, and our paediatric radiologists and nurses/technicians have been specifically trained to carry out all the above techniques with children.

Standard radiology, ultrasound examinations and MRI take place in the KidZ Health Castle (children's hospital) at UZ Brussel. For CT scans, children are taken to the Radiology department for adults because here we have the very latest equipment that requires a minimum dose of radiation
