ERN GUARD-Heart

The Heart Rhythm Management Center is a member of the European Reference Network (ERN) GUARD for rare cardiac diseases. This reference network is a virtual network consisting of care providers throughout Europe. They focus on treatment of complex or rare heart conditions that require very specialised treatment and concentrated knowledge and resources.

The contribution made by the Heart Rhythm Management Center to ERN GUARD-Heart is in the area of cardio-genetic expertise, building on the unique expertise available in the area of Brugada syndrome. The Heart Rhythm Management Center has a leading international reputation in screening for sudden death and sports screening.
